Wangaratta Urology was founded in 2010 by Mr Mark Forbes, a Urologist with family ties in the town to bring a resident urological service to Wangaratta and the wider North-East Victorian region.

Cancer
As a regional Urologist, a large component of Mark’s practice involves dealing with Urologic cancers including prostate, bladder, breast, kidney and testicle.
By working within a team involving oncologists, radiation oncologists and specialist nurses, Wangaratta Urology is able to provide up to date and holistic care for patients and their families.
Kidney Stone Disease
Kidney stones are very common affecting 1 in 10 Australian men and 1 in 35 women. The composition of stones vary with most being calcium based in nature. Other stone types include uric acid (gout type), infection or inherited such as cystine. The cause of stone formation is often dehydration but other factors such as diet, medication or medical disorders may play a role.
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
